In memory of Jules
Jules Avery German was a bright light to those he encountered. Jules was a person of integrity. He was kind and compassionate, and a hard worker who put forth tremendous effort to achieve his goals. Jules loved football and played from the age of 5 until he graduated high school as captain of the varsity football team in his senior year at Cherry Hill West. His love for football continued until he transitioned on.

Jules left an indelible mark on the lives of those he touched, and in tribute, his family has chosen to honor his memory by creating the Bright Light Scholarship and are looking to award this gift to a high school senior of notable character and strength.
The recipient of this award should be a person who illuminates the characteristics of light:
Intensity and brightness. He or she must be a person of integrity, one who exhibits kindness and compassion to those they encounter.
Direction and movement. He or she should maintain a grade point average of at least a 2.8 or above. They should be a hard worker, committed and demonstrate leadership qualities.
